It looks like NCSL is at least acknowledging rec now

This is really vague and not helpful. A deadline is an exact date.
When is the exact date past which we cannot add players to rosters? When do the roster numbers need to be turned in? What is the exact date after which we cannot add more teams? I assume "mid/late February" "registration deadline" is the deadline for adding more teams although that is vague and could mean no more new players. Everything is being loaded via demosphere, what does that mean? Every organization's volunteer will need administrative access to demosphere? Late January - Age Group Commission Meeting via Zoom (Time TBD) Early February - Club Rep Meeting via Zoom (Time TBD) Mid/Late February - Field Permits Due Mid/Late February - Spring 2024 Registration Closes Early March - Master Player Rosters Finalized Late March - Spring 2024 Schedules Posted April 6, 2024 - Opening Day |
At least it's something and implies there will be a spring season. Prior to that one small posting, there was no acknowledgment that rec would even be offered by NCSL |
| I believe the SFL had around 1200 teams. This is very vague for that many teams and I agree with the other poster who said NCSL isn't used to dealing with 100 random volunteers rather than profesional soccer club admins. |
