I was thinking Canada, but it seems too close.

Democrats love importing people from central and south America. Why would you go to Canada?

Strange.

Climate change will leave low latitude countries in central and South America uninhabitable within the next few decades. Some models are predicting daytime high temps in the tropics approaching 160 degrees F. Nothing can survive that.

Canada is really the only option. Of course by then the climate of most of Canada will be more like Miami. But it’s the best you’ll be able to do in this hemisphere.

Soon as you show some financial leg you will be dealt with and your money taken. You lack what it takes to really survive.

Why not Mexico or El Salvador?

Cuba and Venezuela are better.

+100

Not even close. Crimes rates in Cuba are essentially nonexistent compared to Mexico. We were in Santiago de Cuba last year for vacation and felt totally safe for the first time in our lives. No guns, totally opposite of life here in the U-S-of-NRA.

Cuba is at the very top of our list when we retire and ready to jump off this sinking ship. If another republican is ever elected to the White House we’ll be leaving immediately. H and I just need to learn Spanish.

LMAO. I was being sarcastic.

RNC is the only party in the US that is hell-bent on literally destroying the habitability of this planet.

Last Republican President was the ONLY President in HOW long, who did NOT start a war?

Enough of the bloodshed already!!

trump started PLENTY of wars

Including a coup attempt, dumbass

Is this parody?

Which war did Obama start?

Syria and Libya.

Even if you want to call those wars, he didn't start them.

It was pretty clear the meaning was that Obama started US involvement in those wars, one of which continues to this day. Your narrow definition would exclude WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan as they were already in progress when the US entered them.

That meaning was not clear. The poster should learn how to communicate more clearly if that’s what he meant.

Cuba is a client state of Russia. I'm surprised you can stand to stay here at all, given your... worldview.

What skill do you have that 1st world country want?

Are you STEM person under 50? or Doctor? Then many country want you. If you are lawyer? HAHAHA useless eater in other country legal system

If not, no luck.

Total BS

Every other country needs all the lawyers and MBA’s they can get.

Why do you think other countries send their brightest to US law schools and business schools here?

Sounds like you have an inferiority complex. Deservedly.

dp... but wouldn't American lawyers need to pass the equivalent exams in the other countries to practice law there? Certainly, we require doctors and lawyers to pass exams here in the US to practice.

but it's true.. STEM degrees are more easily portable. There are no CS exams to pass in order to be a programmer.

A lawyer or executive is far more productive to GDP than some engineer or farmer.

While true, this is exactly the type of thing that makes GDP such a terrible metric.

This will end up a bad decision if the world doesn’t implode.

New Zealand has low wages and extremely high real estate prices. A complete lack of freedom during Covid that makes even the most liberal Europeans uncomfortable. Very little if any industry besides tourism. I can’t imagine a country dependent on tourism is that well positioned if the world implodes. I suppose geographically it’s well situated but that’s about it.
