Just look at the college matriculation pages from last year and this year Holy Child is doing really well this year. Last year AHC had three very good acceptances, and one was the child of an employee of the school.
The W schools have superior college results than AHC. With less bullying too.
No HC is not really that impressive at all. Same as last year so far. Yes, one to Georgetown and a couple to UVA. Not one top 20 school. Not one early admit to Notre Dame. This is a Catholic school. I never see any admits to ND or BC from this school, even with all of its wealth and likely legacies. Why is that? Looking at SR and VISI, lots of admits to ND every year. Two already posted for VISI and one for SR this year.
Well people weren’t asking about SR or Visi, were they? Visi is not doing well at all this year compared to last year. Bitter pill I suppose. ED? There are no early decision Boston College admits? Since when does that determine a great school?
Regular decision hasn’t even come out yet. Everyone knows that the weaker candidates apply ED anyway. Prep didn’t get one Boston College ED so they are terrible school? Stop being so jealous.
Very good points. We are parents of an 8th grader and explored Holy Child. I will say that there was standing room only at their Open House and we know of two girls last year who were accepted at Holton and still chose Holy Child. So clearly there are parents who find great value in attending this school.
And I think their admissions are quite good actually. I’m not overly impressed with the college admissions for any of the girls schools. A few at some of the other schools will get into Ivy schools but overwhelmingly, most will not. The question is, where do the rest go? Holy Child has quite a few who go to UVA, Tulane and Wake Forest which are the EXACT same colleges the other schools are sending their girls too. 🤷🏻♀️
