Just like every traffic accident doesn't get reported on the news. Some are more horrific and tragic than others, especially when young people die out of negligence of other drivers like drunk driving or someone falling asleep at the wheel.
Every fender bender is not put on front page news nor is every traffic death unfortunately. |

Risk of death by driving on the Beltway is immensely more common than ever being in a mass shooting, or any sort of shooting for that matter. |

too many people with mental illness with guns, but neither is being addressed by Rs. Obama included mental health coverage in ACA plans; Rs want to destroy ACA. Obama extended medicaid to all states; most red states declined the medicaid expansion.. but some have changed their minds especially after covid hit. |

It's very odd to me what people think "no one is talking about." The shooting of the six year old is on the front page of the CNN right now (three headlines in fact), with a mugshot of the shooter. All the major networks reported on the Alabama Sweet 16 party shooting. I got a push notification when they arrested someone. |
