Agree. They really nailed her character “oh I just hate this!” All the while driving up the price. That and the faux humble - the wine “is like jam jars to me”

In the earlier episode she fussed about her cook working too hard all the while giving her more to do, etc.

Really fun character development.

That's not really character development it's cliche

Fair enough. It is cliche. I still think its fun.

I found myself feeling very sorry for Tom and shiv

I don't think either of them actually want a divorce. Which doesn't mean they love each other and are capable of a functional marriage, but I think Tom actually has affection for Shiv along with the knowledge that Logan will kick him to the curb if there's a Roy reconciliation and he and Shiv are divorced. And I think Shiv loves Tom in a really messed up way.

I think Tom wants to get back together and maybe shiv does too but can’t admit it

I am an outlier. I think they are incredibly toxic for one another. Not a good match.

Of course they are. But that doesn’t mean they don’t want to get back together. If they were that introspective, they would not be where they are in the first place.

Wanting to do something that is akin to lighting a match to a stick of dynamite strapped to your body, is not a good move. The marriage is toxic. Bringing kids into that would be awful...it would be like half the people complaining about their toxic marriages and dysfunctional family of origins.

Anonymous wrote:I think the episode made the 3 siblings look especially dumb and irrational. Jumping to purchase a company just to beat daddy to it. They're going to be throwing all their money from selling their shares into this other failing company, which they probably overpaid $4B for and I think their dad thinks they're all dumb as rocks. It's a good representation of how many rich kids are when their parents fund their ideas and startups. My DH works with a lot of them drafting company documents and everything they touch fails, and they just start some new dumb idea with more of parental money.

yes, Logan was right that they are F-ing morons.

He constantly insults his kids and says they are disappointments but they can sure bring the snark like no one else.

I thought it was interesting that Cousin Greg at least tried! The rest of the groupies stayed silent. "Where are your kids?" Oh snap! Then the smell his fingers comment

That was great. I struggle to tell if this show is a comedy or a drama. A dramedy?

Finger comment was before the where are your kids; which is probably Greg asked where are your kids in retaliation.

But then Logan asked about Greg's dad. Where is his dad?

Pretty sure Logan retaliated with the finger bit in return for Greg asking where his kids were.

1) Greg tries hard to roast but says he doesn’t know what to say
2) Logan asks if anyone wants to smell Greg’s finger
3) Greg then asks Logan where his kids are
4) Logan then asks Greg where his dad is

No one is disagreeing with you that it’s toxic or that it’s a healthy marriage, lol.

I think a dramedy is more of a comedy with dramatic moments. This show feels like a drama with comedic moments: a comera?
