SO sick of weed smoke everywhere

This is what’s crazy to me. There’s even a crackdown in vaping, which is also gross but less so than weed. There are even ads about how bad vaping is but nothing at all about marijuana.

But, it's legal!

It's legal to possess certain amounts of it. It is not legal to smoke it walking down the sidewalk! How is this so difficult for you??

Legal is legal. No one bothers with their finer points of law.

You voted for this OP. Either suck it up or move.

UNREAL. You need to get high to watch your kid’s U10 rec basketball game at 10:30am?!

City of Alexandria keeping it classy as always!!

It’s better than tobacco smoke. I realized when I was stuck walking behind someone smoking a cigarette on the sidewalk the other day that, while I really don’t like smelling weed as much as I do, I prefer it to cigarettes!

Walking by or behind someone smoking pot doesn’t make me cough, my clothes and hair don’t smell like it for the rest of the day. In my neighborhood some of it actually smells pretty good. Never could say that about cigarettes!

You people are so dramatic. I live in a state where it’s legal with dispensaries and the overwhelming smell everywhere in public is just not a real problem

Nobody cares.

People voted to stop locking up and fining people who possess cannabis.

People did not vote to have police not enforce the laws. It's still illegal to smoke in public. It's illegal to smoke while driving.

Talk to the cops.

Try living in a condo, apartment or townhouse where your neighbors smoke pot regularly. Even outdoors, on a patio or balcony. You'll change your tune. It won't "actually smell pretty good" when it permeates your home, furniture, clothing and the air you breathe. Pot smoke absolutely can seep through walls, shared attic space, anything, and neighbors' homes where walls, floors or ceilings adjoin will start to stink. And you cannot paint walls or clean upholstery enough to get the f**k RID of it. So enjoy your high-horse "well, walking by someone smoking pot isn't so bad!" crap but know that as soon as you get a regular weed smoker as a neighbor, you are going to change your tune.

Mind your own business. Cops put people in jail and nobody deserves to be locked up for smoking anything let alone a plant.

I’m sorry but you are unhinged. This wasn’t even a thing when everyone smoked everywhere all the time. You sound unhinged.

How high are you at this exact moment?

It is also a gateway drug to fentanyl for these people.

What mess? Lol the smell of weed? 100x better than the “good old” republicans that chain smoke Marlboro reds still because it’s AMERICAN!

Federal law prohibits it in all 50 states, plus DC.

It is not legal. Ask your friends who hold federal employment.
