My friend took a week to respond back to me. This happens a lot.

OP- this is what happens to me often. Friend texts, I read the text. Before I can respond, phone rings and I'm sucked into a work vortex for a few hours. By the time I'm done I completely forgot about the text and it's often several days before I remember. Between work and kids unfortunately my own personal life and friends end up lower priority because it's not typically urgent to get back to them.

So, they are a low priority. It is what it is. No one needs to judge you. But you also probably don't have good friends.

So you take a week to respond to texts, but you respond to an anonymous post within 3 minutes. Interesting.
