I can argue that roofers, plumbers, etc will also be impact by the rise of AI/Technology. Why wouldn't a robot be able to install a new roof or install recessed lights?

There is an enormous chasm between an AI chat bot moving bits around and a robot electrician working in non-standard environments. Like, those are two different planets.
