... and apparently you need to bring your pjs too. |
You laugh, but honestly, even one month in Europe is really too short these days. Three months is a better prospect. |
You're absolutely right but, to be fair, OP only asked about Paris. For that one month should do it. |
|
I took the train to Paris from London just for the day, and it was worth it.
Aren’t there any daytime flights to Paris? Perhaps from NY/NJ (like the daytime flights to London). I’m too old for overnight flights, so schlepping up to NY for a direct daytime flight is worth it imho. Three nights is probably the shortest I’d do these days. |
There are no daytime flights from the US to Paris or any other city in Europe, other than to London. |
You sound very similar to me, and I think this is more than do-able. I've done the same length, but to Ireland, and it was fabulous. |
This, unless I just had to go for work and they were paying. |
| For a mileage run, I would say 2 hours. |
Is it? Some of us have lives we don’t want to abandon for 3 entire months. |
| We once got a great deal and went for three nights. Flew from DC Thursday night, arrived early morning Friday, stayed Fri, Sat, Sun nights and flew back midday Monday. It would have been nicer to stay one more night but it was totally fine. |
