Soooo wrong. Maybe 40 year olds walk from building to building but college kids are outside. There are outside parties, outside recreation, outside clubs, outside walking around from bar to bar. Some kids enjoy cold but to say college kids are not outside is inaccurate.

The cold usually isn't as big a deal when you're young. Do you not see kids in shorts year round out and about for sports stuff? I went to a cold and snowy U and didn't think twice about it then. Would definitely be a factor in deciding whether to live there now, though.
