Late to sports

OP, where are you located?

I agree with volleyball, martial arts, flag football and track. There are boys volleyball rec teams and lots of kids start in middle school. My DS is on a 6th grade coed volleyball rec team, and no one played before.

Track is a good one bc the high school teams are huge and there are lots of things he could try.

Lots of parents around here do not want their kids playing football so flag football is gaining in popularity.
