They are supposed to. That isn’t stealing. |
| In my early 30s I took some whiskey glasses from a whiskey tasting. They were so cute and unique! But it was completely stupid. And in college I took several plates cups, etc. from the dinning hall to use in my room - though I did return them at the end of the year! |
| I have taken a few stevia packs for my iced tea. Not every restaurant has them. |
|
Nothing.
I worked in restaurants all through college, and even then, nothing. Stealing is stealing. Try and justify it all you want. |
Oh, I do this, too. Is that stealing? |
If they could afford to go to bars and restaurants for an entire week, why not just get a cheap set of glasses for the house? That's just bad character. |
I do not think taking the leftover rolls is stealing. The restaurants cannot re-serve rolls -- health code violation. |
| Only the occasional tiny half-n-half for coffee. |
| Nothing. This is psychotic. |
|
Once a while, I would take a few sugar, salt and pepper packs and maybe ketchup and mustard packs too. We use them for camping because it's convenient.
You don't take the restaurant's silverware or glasses. That's crazy. |
Yep, I came to this realization one day when I was filling the plastic cup with tabasco, the way you're "supposed to," take the sauce, and it took fully half the bottle to fill. We use everything we take, so what's really the difference between filling a plastic cup every time we go and taking a full bottle every other time besides one being more convenient? |
Oh I agree. It was a group house and one of the girls was a friend of a friend which is how I got in. None of them were hurting for cash. |
nothing. Why would that be even a thing?!
|
Unbelievable how you two think your justifications are anything but that. You are stealing. If everyone took the bottle every time they used it then there would never be enough for the customers in the restaurant, which is what they're for. Also, when you take the bottle, you can use it for other things, not just Chipotle. You are a thief. Pure and simple. Just admit it. |

It has never even crossed my mind to take a spoon, glass, condiment bottle, etc. from a restaurant.
This thread is eye opening. (Not in a good way). |
