What is a food item that everyone loves and you don’t?

Tacos. People are obsessed with them and I don’t get it.

Actually I’m not a fan of Mexican food in general. And my H is Mexican, so it causes some friction, ha. Nothing like your H excitedly cooking a dish from his childhood and having to act all enthusiastic like “yum, soggy tortillas again, can’t wait!”

Chocolate ice cream. I love other flavors, especially ones that feature chocolate pieces (mint chip, Cherry Garcia, etc) but hard pass on chocolate ice cream.

Tiramisu. It's weirdly moist and the taste is meh

I thought I was the only one! I love the idea of it and want to like it but I hate the wet crumbly texture of the ladyfingers.

Barbecue. It doesn't matter what kind, I don't like it. People tell me, "Oh, but you haven't tried X region's barbecue." I have. I don't like it.

Brie

Any kind of fruit compote (why would you do this to a berry?!)

Cannoli—the texture of the shell sets my teeth on edge, and I don’t like the lumpy filling.

Cupcakes. Just no.

Iced coffee. Don’t care how hot it is. I am getting hot coffee and boiling with it until death.

Cheese
Chocolate

What kind of cannoli have you been eating?? The filling isn’t supposed to be lumpy.

Tortillas aren’t supposed to be soggy. This sounds like a bad representation of Mexican food.

+100 to ranch dressing! Any dressings that are thick and floppy like that are gross.

Cream-based soups.

Whip cream frosting is a mean trick. I think I’m getting buttercream, I take a bite, and it’s slimy and weak whip cream instead.

Never at a hundred birthdays, retirement parties, or graduations has anyone had a problem with whip cream Costco frosting but me.

I agree with everyone else you know on this one. I hate buttercream frosting and always get it changed to whip cream frosting.
