What is a food item that everyone loves and you don’t?

Yellow cheeses 🧀

Hot dogs
Deviled eggs

Chili dogs
Rare roast beef
Tres leches cake
Eggs with tomato sauce, like shakshuka or chilaquiles.

Mayonnaise
Cheesecake
Cream Cheese
Creamy salad dressings
Alfredo

And the big one that freaks people out- bread. There are exceptions like a good piece of garlic bread with an Italian dinner, but I can't stand sliced sandwich bread, hamburger or hotdog buns, dinner rolls, etc...

Pumpkin spice anything
Sweet and meat. So no pork and apples for me.

Oreos. They’re so fake and saccharine, gross.

The cake part is never good enough and the frosting is so excessive and gross.

You can’t say “just no” about not liking cupcakes. I respect your opinion, but please explain why you dislike cupcakes specifically as opposed to cake in general.

Different poster and not the purpose of the thread, but my issue with cupcakes is the frosting is only on the top! Also, I'd much rather have a piece of cake, where I can slice a huge piece or a tiny sliver, than the forced serving size of a cupcake.

Related, I agree with the PP who hated biting into frosting to discover it is whipped versus buttercream.

Too much frosting. Too sweet. Often dry. Unless you know for a 100% fact the bakery sells a lot, thus bakes them daily, they get stale. There is one bakery back home that makes spectacular carrot cake cupcakes with all pure ingredients and uses butter not oil. That’s the only cupcake I crave.

I'm a different poster and I don't like cupcakes - esp the ones like Georgetown cupcakes. Too much frosting, too much cake, too much blech inside and on top.

Honestly, I like a good ol' Duncan Hines cupcake that is the size of a cupcake coming out of the cupcake tin.

+100 to ranch dressing! Any dressings that are thick and floppy like that are gross.

Don't most people over age 22 think ranch of gross? It seems like something only kids and lower class people enjoy.

Lower class people, ha. I think that for the purposes of the OP, not liking ranch counts.

I love ranch but I make my own. Mayo, buttermilk, sour cream with garlic , chives….other fresh herbs that I forget. It’s delicious. But I know that some people can’t stand mayo or sour cream or things with this kind of texture in and form so yeah, it’s not for everybody.

I REALLY like Synergy Lemon Berry kombucha, and a few of their other flavors, like the Strawberry. I just like it — so I don’t have much of an explanation beyond that. I don’t drink sodas though, and find most sodas to be way too sweet, while flavored seltzer is kind of meh, so the kombucha just happens to be my perfect fizzy sweet spot.

Frosting
General Tso's chicken
Alternative flavors of margaritas

So many things taste too sweet to me as I got older. I'll do plenty of sugar in tea sometimes, or something else very sweet, but not -- adulterated sweet? Claggy, muddled sweet?
