How was the Tuesday catch up mtg w ur boss?

OP so I met with him and Bizarre. I had my notes on possible negation for severance or just maybe get whatever. Instead he starts accusing me of going native, being empathic as he thinks the report I am overdue on big time that slams another area I am not pulling trigger as I feel bad for area. I left call un-fired with more work. Even odder I am back in mix.

I already started my new job and was expecting to be let go. To be fair I will work till 9 pm 1-2 nights this week give him what he wants as he paid for it. My new boss on vacation next week, but he is big on meetings and my staff is “needy” I don’t want to quiet quit on them.

But tonight a job which I did like a crazy amount of interviews last summer. One of those white shoe executive retained search firms with NDAs, deep background checks ahead of time. Was 10 of us who did this crazy round of interviews like whole C team. I did three of them with Covid in my suit from home. Well I just heard I made it to final two to meet Chairman of Board and CEO. Pretty large multinational company. I may have to quit both my jobs. This one is real deal. I was going to quit one of them anyhow the week after next. I am looking forward to a single demanding somewhat in person job. Maybe my I don’t give a crap attitude is confusing people.

Either way quitting old job October 24 with last day Nov 7 and hopping I get set loose. If my old boss did not un-quiet fired me I could have kept quiet quit status another few months.

Still shocked not let go. I even was really unapologetic and poked the bear. Yet it seemed to make him want me more. Hey maybe will counter offer me when I try to quit!

Great job OP! For some reason in the corporate world if you act like you don't care or throw a wrench into the works then management really respects that and thinks you are onto something they don't have or know about. Be prepared now to be given team lead responsibilities and possibly a promotion.

OP's posting style is very recognizable, he posts on DCUM. He has said before that English is his first language.

^sorry, that was supposed to say "he posts on DCUM a lot."

PP you quoted here

Is it fiction? He's consistent, I've noticed that. The number of kids, their ages, etc. His story is always the same.

Just always reads like someone spit-balling bizarro fantasy, IMO. But bad writing is usually more revealing than an author intends, and ESOL only amplifies that.

His autism makes his fiction stories always slip up and not tie together. Similarly his lies make zero sense and give them away (a) as lies, and (b) he makes no sense/ is illogical.

It's time to quit. This job sounds like shit and the boss is an azzhole. Also, don't listen to asswipes correcting your grammar.

I took a look and a ton of road map items, 2022 planning, input to get board deck. 80 percent I can stall a bit. But only like 2-3 weeks.

Tomorrow I am going meeting happy and book
10-20 meetings next three weeks and put her as optional on them all. She wants to play so be it.

She unquiet fired me!! I think her EVP woke up. I am resigning 10-18 with last day 11-1. So I get 10-31 401k match and first day Nov keeps me on medical an
extra two weeks as cuts off on payday.

I say she will win the war! There is no way I can catch up on work.

Kinda glad she woke up. Ends my misery.

Are you OP?

Must be, as it's the same near-unintelligible writing style.

OP this jobs is stressing me out. I had to fire someone today one company, then I had my final interview at job I want then a strategy planning session then back to current company.

I midst of it all old company looks like getting good review but new company up my butt.

At this point I may quit my new job. They are teams happy. They pop up meetings or chat all the time. And if I turn off computer goes red, shows the world how long I am off line.

My old company just hired someone with two jobs and quit one to join us and left other up on LinkedIn I have been seeing it more and more
