I always vote R in DC, followed by central I, followed by central D. The problem is because I'm registered independent, I can't participate in the initial selection of candidates.

One of THREE shootings on H Street NE this weekend, two of which occurred in broad daylight. Incredibly depressing (I live in the neighborhood). I hope Robinson is okay and I also hope his high profile draws the needed attention to this problem. This is not okay.

Everyone in the neighborhood needs to email Charles Allen. He’s head of the Judiciary Committee and he’s constantly making things worse. He needs to hear from constituents that real steps need to be taken to address violent crime in the neighborhood (not his bullsh*t violence interruptors that don’t work).

I called his office once over his leniency for 26 year old bill that would cover rapists murderers and the like (it passed), and got a very condescending lecture on the enlightenment of C Allen that I might one day come to understand..but yes, light up his phones and emails. It's your right, and his public policy is awful.

The other problem is the Ds always win.
