Why the far right thinks a civil war will start on Saturday, 2017
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/nov/01/far-right-conspiracy-theory-us-civil-war https://theconversation.com/why-the-alt-right-believes-another-american-revolution-is-coming-153093 a more broad discussion I'm from a "red" area so I see this civil war crap on my far right wing friends feeds at least once a year. Don't gaslight me. I mean, they look stupid and I say nothing, but these idiots actually think there are armies of facist leftists coming for them. Even if we have guns, we aren't coming for you guys. |
Uh huh. Now tell us about the idiots right here on DCUM who keep hoping for red areas of the country to leave the US. Thread after thread with exactly the same nutty comments, hoping for civil war. You were saying something about gaslighting? |
Clearly, someone always takes everything at face value. Black women have lived through far worse in terms of crime. But it’s been awhile since the racist good old boys have been so out and proud, the fundies so looney, and the cops so useless. These ladies are not going to find themselves sitting around waiting to get Tulsa’d again. |
^^Can confirm. [NP; Gun-owning Black woman] |
Amen. Everyone walking around with a gun isn’t going to reduce crime or help black neighborhoods. More guns = bigger poop show. |
| I’ll take black women being armed over white men any day. |
Good, the 2nd amendment is made for everyone. The elected would have you believe only they should be timed to protect themselves because they have the money for security or they get is as a benefit for being a slimy politician. The ability to protect yourself is a natural right. So good for these ladies |

Look at countries that have banned the sales and ownership of guns like the UK or Japan. Gun crimes rarely happen there because guns just aren’t available. The 2nd amendment is the opposite of protection it legalises bad people having guns, more than that, they have the RIGHT to own guns. It’s madness. |
WAR state. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/31/us/teachers-guns-schools.html? When Kindergarten teachers are learning how to apply battlefield first aid and how to shoot to protect kids, what would you call it? |
