Disgusting exploitation.

Are you implying this particular group of people are unable to think critically for themselves? Wow.

Here are some facts, if you ever tire of grandstanding:

https://vpc.org/press/gun-industry-and-nra-target-blacks-and-latinos-as-first-time-gun-owners-and-future-pro-gun-advocates-new-violence-policy-center-study-details/

Actually, that is a great organization to contribute to.

And I suspect this whole thread may have been started by the NRA or the RNC.

Of course you do - anyone with an opinion contrary to yours *must* be with the NRA or RNC! How typical. I'm the OP and represent only myself. Btw, this article was from the WaPo. Too funny how you don't like what it says so you try and shoot the messenger (pun intended).

No, I am in public health, and we learn how the tobacco industry targeted minorities (as well as low income countries), as new markets to get addicted to their products. You see, I actually work on behalf of the underserved in the world, I don’t talk a big game while working to benefit myself.

Black women cannot think for themselves - left wing intellectuals are the new crackers who will decide what is ok and what is not for black women

"Crackers" ?

Sounds like the racist is calling the kettle black.

Compared to some of the racist garbage spewed by liberals on the daily, that's nothing. And the PP is absolutely correct.

Very true.

I think it would be awesome if the next $20 bill had the drawing of Harriet Tubman holding a pistol. Can’t get much more American than that.

With an AR15 like the Uvalde shooter slaughtered 19 children? Ha ha so funny.

What is your problem??? Companies don’t market as an insult. It is a strategy to make more profits.

You sound like a knee jerk , one note intellectual lightweight, who watches MSNBC instead of reading and thinking for yourself.

Aren’t you so proud of your self! We are living in a war state. You big boy you you have your war state. Now even the disadvantaged are getting guns. Looks like your little war dreams are coming true. Companies always look out for the greater good. Yes they do!

She’s a policy wonk that does good in her eyes, and therefore does no wrong.

I’m glad black women are doing what’s needed to protect themselves. Godspeed

In my eyes, Public health as done nothing but deceive the American people these past two years. If anything, it seems government is in the pockets of the drug lobbyists.

I'm actually a moderate conservative who wouldn't watch MSNBC if you paid me. As usual, the left treats minorities as victims, wholly unable to think for themselves. These black women have decided to arm themselves because they are SICK of being victims in their own communities. More power to them.

Just to clarify, did you survey them all? Do you know them all?

I think that anyone who thinks that more guns make a community safer from gun violence has been duped by gun industry propaganda, because they have NOT been reading scientific literature or looking at data. ALL people that is (so you can group white conservatives in there, though you keep wanting to make this a racially polarizing discussion).

Well, Republican--run government, yes. Note that a Democratic administration is currently trying to put the brakes on drug pricing. Let's see which party supports drug price controls more, shall we.

I think this is a natural consequence of higher crime. People of all demographics have a limit, and things are pretty bad out there right now.

Unfortunately more guns around probably isn’t going to help things much. So that’s even more of a reason for our politicians to hear us all when we demand safer communities.

Enough with the social experiments that have obviously failed.

Wait wait wait wait……

I thought you always said the NRA was only marketing to white supremacists and nazi fascists?!?! Now you’re telling me they’ve been marketing to black women, too?

You need to get your narrative sorted out. Because right now you’re trying to sing the same dumbass song off two different sheets of music.

Get your story straight!!!!

That would be EPIC!

A black, gun owning, republican woman who replaces a white, democrat, slave owning man.

Cannot WAIT for this to happen!!!! Bring it!!!!

Companies lobby whomever they will make money off of. This is a new population to market to since the white gun loving crowd is getting saturated. It is comparable to companies marketing to am emerging market.
