My family has connections to a lot of the Catholic schools in the area. So many of these schools are in such turmoil. Not good for Catholic education.

It is not a mess, but no one gets to say anything nice on here without being accused of being "administration," so you will only hear a disgruntled point of view, sadly.

Unfortunately, it is an absolute mess. No stability or leadership the last few years and the BOD is monumentally oblivious and no parent on its board.

Whether that is true or not does not make the school immune to problems. SAAS has been disappointing and the headmaster has been nothing more than a greeter as even he has implied. After two years, he is leaving which is good because he has been ineffective and is bad because of the turnover. On top of the email announcing he is leaving for seemingly family reasons but conveniently left out that he took job elsewhere. The school desperately needs an overhaul and oversight. It is a mess.
