I’m a career SES, what salary range could I expect from BCG vs Deloitte, Booz, or others?

Depends on if you can sell business - and close the deal. I've seen and worked with many former SES that have all kinds of relationships, connections, understanding of their former organizations' needs, but cannot seem to seal the deal in terms of business development. Crack that code - after your cooling off period ends - and you'll be worth something to those firms. If not, they'll still add you to their list of "door openers" for the folks that can get in and sell work.

What would the salary range be for an experienced manager with a clearance? I am thinking of reaching out to a friend who works there and he said they don't bring new people in at senior manager unless they are already strong business developers/networkers, which I am not.

So as door opener, you'll be making what $200k?
