Meanwhile you don’t want to wear a mask because “freedom,” but you don’t mind someone taking the freedom to say “gay.”

Funny that.

Say "gay" all you want. Just don't teach our K-3 kids about what it means to be gay or trans.

Why not?

Unless they are YOUR kids, you have no business teaching them about these issues.

Just be glad you didn’t have children when Bill Clinton was president.
Sheesh!

He didn’t run around accusing others. Unlike you, I’m not partisan on the topic of men who are so insecure as to push themselves into and onto younger women who work for them. That’s more of a “men problem.”

Clinton DID gross things but I am not talking about what Trump or Cawthorn DID. I’m talking about how they DESCRIBE it.

Clinton describing anything under oath doesn’t count because he was forced to do that. Otherwise, he didn’t go around to the press talking about orgies.

Trump freely brings up gross descriptions to the press. It’s Republicans who talk to the press about their (projected) sex lives—way more than Democrats.

Trump even got it out into the press that Marla said he was the best sex she ever had. Trump planted the quote to make himself look good.

This is pretty hysterical considering he had to talk about what he had done.
Nothing like explaining oral sex, BJs and what a man does with a cigar and a woman to kids.

Bet that really bothered the prudish boomers.

Going after language because your kids hurt it, and targeting it at "republicans" seems a little too one-sided. Be mad at the man if you want, but vulgar language is not a partisan issue.

Which elected Ds use vulgar language?

Can You define “vulgar language”? Or is it just the words “cocaine” and “orgy”?

Ask PP who said: “Be mad at the man if you want, but vulgar language is not a partisan issue.”

I am that PP and I also asked the question. I realize that I was not precise in that language. Notwithstanding that “elected” was entered into the equation, I want to be able and I give an answer that is precise. OP used “gross”. Maybe I’ll ask how many hat is defined?

However you want to define it, elected Rs covered on the news say “gross” things more often than Ds. It’s just their nature.

I mean, OK I guess? But that only works if you define “gross” as a view you don’t agree with. I was hoping to go a little deeper than that. Do you have examples of what you view as supporting that assertion?

Just from this thread…

Cawthorne
Trump

For whatever is is worth, I entered this thread thinking it was wrong to take what Cawthorne said and extrapolating that into a claim that more “gross” language is used by republicans than democrats.

But if we are now talking about “don’t say gay” legislation…. To equate differences in who you love or how you perceive yourself with “vulgarity” or “grossness” or even at all about sec acts….is simply irrational and wrong.

Republicans are often irrational and wrong.

And, clearly, you must not let your children listen to rap music or hip hop or watch the grammys or oscars because Lord knows....... there is far worse to be seen and heard on these.

The news.

Did you even read the OP?

No, they didn’t. They have to get their racism on the record here. It is telling how far the GOP has slid that they’re just coarse and vulgar all the time now.

What in the HELL does this have to do with racism? You people just throw out that word for fun.

Anything the GQP does has racist undertones. Might as well acknowledge that and put it out there whenever we’re discussing republicans.

What’s the problem with that?

Because of Trump, my kid had to learn about a lot of sexual topics before an appropriate age. Here we are again.

I often find these people are projecting their own behavior onto others so I have assumptions about him.

The FCC forbids certain words from TV broadcasts and radio. Why would t Republicans, who claim to be so family centered, use language like this? It seems thoughtless and selfish.

By the way, I know the DC area had key parties back in the day and assume these go on still, but I wouldn’t blab about it to the press.

I think Trump style republicans are the biggest hypocrites claiming to be "Christians". And yes they are selfish and in my opinion gross in their language and behavior. Shame on them.

LOL.... your precious little one will learn more on the bus and playground than they will from a teacher- grow up. My child's teacher is gay and has two kids. He showed us pictures and it warmed my heart to see how much love there was in his life. Just STOP with your homophobic attitude or here's an idea send your kid to a small christian school where everyone is close minded like you!
