Please give my DD a great, rocking middle name!

You could go with the muses Calliope, Clio, or Thalia. I’d avoid the others. You could also use Athena or Minerva, or one from a less familiar mythology. Here’s Wikipedia’s list of art deities from around the world, and the page for muses:

Nameberry has a list of names from mythology that you might like (Aurora, Chloe, Phoebe, Calypso, Ariadne, etc.)

I’ve always loved the name Eleanor. It reminds me of 2 amazing women: E. Roosevelt and E. of Aquitaine. It’s a pretty name, conventional enough to be easily pronounced and spelled, and has a lot of potential nicknames the child can choose from.

You could use Davi (for Da Vinci) or Renee/Renai for Renaissance.

Georgia (O’Keefe)

If you like blue, you could go with a specific shade - Azure, Cyan, Indigo, Sapphire, Periwinkle, or even Lavender (dilly, dilly)

Misc. names I like: Aiden, Linnet, Paloma

Jeez, maybe the kid can just join a cult or a hair khrisna cult (the crazy ones in the U.S. not normal ones in India) based on these suggestions!

OP here. We are neither conservative nor Catholic! We’re art lovers but not artists; music lovers but not musicians. We’re both huge readers and athletic. City dwellers. Both PhD’s (different fields). And tall (not that that matters 😂).

Since your tall Bean, as in beanstalk.

You absolutely do not need a middle name (I never had one and it didn’t matter at all).

But if you must, my vote is Mary Indigo
