| "homeless littering the street?" You're talking about PEOPLE, people with problems, not fast food containers and cigarette butts. How did you become so dehumanized? |
| I hope he will! |

I’d definitely like to see VA ban the high-THC edibles and superweed.
Allow “normal” strains of MJ with less than 10% THC. But nothing over that. That’s a reasonable place to meet in the middle. |
|
He will MOST DEFINITELY REcriminalized weed
Make police brutality go up against POC |
The last Republican Governor was indicted for accepting bribes. Before him Jim Gilmore promised to end the car tax and fired hundreds of state employees. The result was the state had to pay contractors to do the state’s business and cost millions more. I’m still paying car tax. Notice You glint hasn’t said one word about ending the grocery tax lately and how that tax money will be recovered. If you are a state employee and voted for Youngkin start looking for a job before the rush. |
Darth Vader joined the dark side over promises of better health care. |
|
Nah, he used anti CRT rhetoric to get elected. Which really means...nothing.
I predict lots of state employees will be laid off or riff retired, and that the richest top 1% folks in VA will get a tax cut. And maybe most abortions will be made illegal. Anything bringing in money from the middle class, working class and poor will stay the same. Including MJ. |
|
I doubt he will do much except tighten up some loopholes. There is just way too much money to be made in cannabis, way too much. For now you can get weed delivered to your house from DC by buying a special deal of some other product and the "extra gift" is the weed. This might be the kind of loophole that gets eliminated. But otherwise Virginia is collecting way too much money from the cannabis industry to just eliminate it once Youngkin is in office.
Cash rules everything around me, CREAM get the money. Dollar dollar bill y'all. This is no different. |
|
MJ makes lots of cash. I have Trumper relatives with a large commercial nursery in VA who have been waiting to grow MJ for years, they are planning to be even richer than they already are. Don't fool yourselves.
|
He won't as long as the Ds control the Senate. Alternatively, depends on how much money GQP politicians stand to make from MJ legalization in VA. |
Yes, of course, start locking people up again for MJ possession and use simply because YOU don't like the product they're using. |
I don’t know who is dumber, you or the nursery folk. When marijuana is legalized, it will become like any other vegetable product that is sold in a grocery store. It will not be difficult to buy, and the price will revert to market. Increasing water shortages may affect the price just it will increase the price of other grown items. |
Which is fine. That is what they are aiming for, like any of their other products. They live in an area with plenty of water, so not an issue there for the shorter run. Most republicans don't think longer run anyhow. |
This is only true when state governments actually want a competitive MJ marketplace. Unlike in California, where the politicians got way too greedy and over taxed the legal product, maintaining a huge black market for MJ. Politicians mess everything up and legal MJ is no exception. |
