Is your DC private mandating Covid Vaccine for 5-11, or recommending?

No wonder everyone is claiming religious or medical reasons and opting for weekly testing.

Can anyone recommend a pediatrician who is willing to fill out a medical exemption form for kids with underlying medical conditions? Ours said the more health issues your kid has, the sooner s/he should get the vaccine...

So you're going to go against the recommendations of a trained professional, one who you trust enough with the care of your children?

Rabbi's, priests, doctors, PAs - all are writing this for sports exceptions. Barely any schools are forcing this.
World bank and IMF are also writing exemptions for employees kids who also think this is a risky overkill.

Loving my Pfizer stick price pop a couple weeks ago when FDA voted to allow it if you want to get it plus each person talked more about why not to get it than why to. Weak CYA to say one thing but vote the other way— but they were only voting to allow it to the market, not to force kids to get it. Big difference.

Did you ask why?

The response is “because other shots have weakened the symptoms if you get infected later so this shot will probably do the same. No comment on side effects or any feedback over 3 months out. Sign here please.”

I literally know of NO ONE who is making this claim. EVERYONE I know across the country has been vaccinated and is having their kids vaccinated.

Well, if you don't know them, they must not exist.

Well if you know "everyone is claiming religious or medical reasons" and opting out, then those getting vaccinate must not exist as well.

Wow, what productive comments here. Do you talk to your kids and spouse like that too? Or anyone really?

What about NCS/STA for kids age 9-11? They have more eligible kids than NCRC in this age group.

Everyone? Did you see the lines at the DC public vax clinics? They had to turn people away by mid-morning because they had only so many doses.

So these priests are ignoring the Pope's instruction that nothing in the Catholic faith prevents vaccination?

I too think its crazy for any school to mandate this for this age group especially. At least most of the schools around here have the wherewithal to recognize that, shocked at the schools who have decided to mandate. I just hope that it goes well for all these kids and families.

No physician, even the ones who voted to approve the emergency use authorization know what will happen with this vaccine. Especially some random DMV pediatrician. The only way is to inject a bunch of people with it and look at the results. I never volunteer my children to be early adopters of anything. - MPH
