What other sports does your soccer player play?

Fishing and snowboarding are his sports outside of soccer. He'd rather fish than anything else I think, but he's a good player and loves doing it, so soccer is easy. Getting up on a Saturday at 6am to go fishing is the hard part for me.

How can a school require kids to play a sport? That doesn't seem fair to me. What happens to the kids with medical conditions who may not be able to play sports?

Every middle and high school in the area has a PE requirement. They all figure out how to accommodate kids with disabilities and medical needs. The big difference at the middle school level is that some schools have kids in general PE classes where they play a variety of sports whereas some private schools have their kids choose one sport a season.
