VDA released 5 girls last year mid season. Ask them.

Why did 5 girls pickup and leave? Why are another set of 05s looking to leave?

I know a guy who knows a guy that can get you a fake birth certificate. He helps out a lot of the latin youth players in the area. You'll have a new player card in no time. As a bonus you pick the birth year you want.

yes, but if sprint, ATT, and Verizon got to gather and agreed to not take any customer from a rival while they were still under contract, the government would impose a very large fine

If youre implying that clubs back channel and agree not to take each other’s players, please allow me to introduce you to FCV.

And then Loudoun staffers and suckers complain that people are always “bashing Loudoun”

Try not to laugh.

Ok FCV dad, how many players at the older ages at FCV are homegrown from u9-u12?

Who has home grown players at that age, most are coming from Recreational soccer

VDA, because we work with VSA and PWSI. If we don’t like those choices we go pre-ECNL games and talk to the parents after. Of course at other clubs. You develop them we will recruit, is our motto.

Latin youth players are us citizens. This stereotype is now outdated and you are showing your age and your ignorance of what is happening in the arebyou call home.

Barca currently holding hostage a player by not answering emails nor releasing player card. What’s wrong with Leesburg based clubs?

It's not even mid season. Why do you want to leave already? You haven't given it a chance.

Right. Do they have the minimal # of players and recognizing it's a struggle to get new players? Or club politics that bad?

We are in a situation like this where it isn't what we thought we signed up for. They lumped several ages into one group and my kid is playing up a couple years... and the fall game season was canceled. I'd like my kid to play on an age appropriate team with some matches.

So are we, although we just left. Understand that sometimes it's not a "grass is greener" type of situation; some families have genuine concerns regarding their child's wellbeing. In our case, our kid was getting bullied by older players - to the point where other parents were noticing and asking us about it (and stating that their own child was experiencing the same behavior), and when we brought it up to the coach, they immediately went on the defensive and even suggested that it was best for our child to find another club. When news got out that my child had left, we had other parents reach out via email and text, highlighting the same concern about the clique that had formed in the team and was bullying younger players or other players who were defending the younger ones, and noting that they, too, were thinking about leaving.

I totally get where OP is coming from - this was the one year where we didn't do the upfront pay prior to the season started, and quite frankly, I'm not inclined to pay a single cent more to a club that won't do anything about it's bullying behavior. It's total bullshit, and yet...we run the possibility of having to fight them so that they'll release our child's player card.
