Midnight Mass

I'm still a bit confused about the blood drinking. Had the townspeople lived, would they have constantly been seeking blood to drink? And if so, how would that have worked? Is that why they were planning to take the boats to the mainland - for more "fresh meat"?

Did Father Paul really never go outside during the daytime?

How did Ali come back to life - I know he had attended mass one other time, but surely he wasn't taking communion? Wouldn't the poison have simply killed him?

And finally, obviously the monster wasn't able to fly far away enough to avoid the sun since Erin had cut his wings. So he combusted in the sun, along with all the townspeople.

According to the creator, she did not. He died because over time he consumed too much of the angel’s blood. That makes more sense to me. He seemed to know he was sick over several days and tried to hide it. The poison killed people in a few minutes.

Hamish Linklater, the priest will absolutely win an award. His sermons are amazing

He is a revelation…no pun intended.

He did a fantastic job. But I have to wonder - has he ever played a "normal" character? He always seems to be cast as these eccentric men. I'm also thinking of his role in Tell Me Your Secrets. I'd love to see him play a normal guy one of these days.

He played the laconic brother to old Christine on “The Adventures of Old Christine”. His parents were voice actors, which is where his training started
