Does anyone here remember when Alec Baldwin made some cynical comment about not being remembered for being a serious actor after they've done TV? Now, thanks to Hilary, he's going to be known as the TV actor who fell for a kook. What a pity. What is that saying about the bigger they are the harder they fall? |
PP who said how great she looks... have you ever taken a close look at her photos? They're ALL photoshopped. I'm proficient in photoshop for work and even if I weren't, it would be easy to see with the untrained eye that not only does she photoshop, but she's clearly an amateur doing her own work. I can point out numerous errors in every photo she's ever taken of her semi-nude body and they are all errors that correlate to the changes she's making on specific parts of her body (she has a particular affinity for slimming her stomach, thighs (that ridiculous thigh gap that she creates, but doesn't think to check what's just beyond her thigh gap in the same photo) and her rear. I pointed out a perfect example when she first posted it -- the photo with the baby in the red onesie... look at his deformed toes. That's from her taking about 4 inches off of her stomach and not using the feather tool correctly. I'd think if someone were truly as happy with themselves as you say, they wouldn't manipulate every single half naked photo of themselves (or post them at all), as well as lie about who she is. |
Download the app Facetune on iOS (apple). You can create as many faux slimming videos as you'd like. |
We already discussed this earlier in the thread, but their oldest daughter (18) died of a drug overdose & one of the things that the "Queen" says she regretted was doing that documentary, as her daughter started getting bullied in school for the documentary and because she was a little overweight at the time. It was just so sad -- regret is a horrific thing. https://abcnews.go.com/Health/queen-versailles-family-turns-attention-opioid-crisis-daughters/story?id=61607277 |
Yes! Thank you! |
Although there is much about this story which is sad and troubling, it also interlaced with some humor. Two things stand out.
First, watching a youtuber, with a bad spanish accent, impersonating Alec on Letterman doing a bad fake spanish accent of his wife, who does a bad spanish accent. Second, Amy Schumer posting the infamous photo that started all this and Hilaria making a video about body shaming and how she champions body inclusivity. It then being pointed out that she photoshopped the image as evidenced by the deformed toes. |

I'm the PP quoted in the post right before you... the one who brought the deformed toes photo to DCUM's attention. The thing of it is... I photoshop daily for work. Due to this, I've always honed in on the maladroit-ish errors in all of her photos -- going back to when she first started posting semi-nude photos of her body. Clearly I would notice these errors more than most would, because my eye has been trained to LOOK for errors (I'm the last stop before our campaigns go live). That being said, Hilaria has been manipulating the photos if her body for a very, very long time. I never said anything, because she's always appeared to be someone who's incredibly insecure. The *only* reason I posted anything at all about the toes, was after she came out about Amy Schumer's joke and claimed that she was being shamed for her natural body/body type, as well as for posting photos of herself that were 3 months after birth, and these photos have been heavily manipulated. - Why not post the real photos of yourself 3 months after birth? I imagine her body still looks incredible & it's better than the majority of us looked at 3 months post birth, so why not show that?? - Are you trying to make other women (who are also 3 months post birth, etc) feel badly about themselves & their bodies? - Why would you insist on pushing these unrealistic, fabricated & highly misleading images of yourself, when you already look great? You don't have to be a psychiatrist to see that she appears insecure, plus... she never seem genuinely happy to me (no matter how hard she protests to the contrary). * Everything that she does is just so contrived with her, everything that she does has an agenda *. Can you imagine how exhausting that is? There are one or two posters who've repeatedly asserted that we all must be envious of Hilaria because she's so fertile, and so rich and she's married to Alec Baldwin... but without even knowing any of the posters who posted before me, it would be hard to imagine that any one of them is envious of Hilaria. Yes, she has money & her husband has fame and she does have beautiful children, nobody is denying any of that, but... does she seem like she's really ENJOYING any of what she's been blessed with? She seems like someone that nothing is ever good enough for -- she needs more kids, more posts, more instagram photos, more publicity, more, more, more... she doesn't seem like she realizes that everything she has IS enough. You cannot be happy living your life, day in & day out, using an artificial, fictitious, psychosomatic, alternate persona, and also be happy & content. It would be impossible (with the exception of a psychopath/sociopath) to live your life every day, knowing that there is an abundance of evidence out there that is so easily attainable (high school classmates statements, her online yearbook, her parents/family history & background, etc) and NOT be scared that one day very soon, her flimsy house of cards will come crashing down all around her, and also still be as happy as some of you think she is... that's too much pressure for any one person to live with AND also be as happy as some of you claim that we're jealous of. The fact is... it would be hard to feel envy for someone who truly doesn't seem like they are happy with themselves (the photoshopping, the obsessive posting of (as the kids call it) "thirst trap" photos on social media (over 5,500 posts on Instagram alone) all of it. However, the most concerning of them all, is the racially fake persona... sigh... I'm sure the fake persona is intrinsically a tell tale sign (and indicative) that she's actually NOT satisfied with her life. If you are never satisfied within your life, can you really ever truly be happy? No, I just refuse to believe that any of the smart, successful women who post here are actually envious of someone like vapid, shallow Hilaria (especially when there are so many REAL women right here in our nation's capital, whose envy is truly justified). And in other Baldwin news... 🙄 https://nypost.com/2021/01/23/hamptons-equestrian-ousted-replaced-by-alec-baldwins-charity/ |
Well let's see, his first wife was considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, so I guess HB is in good company. They can afford to have enough help to make having 5 kids a joy. (I know people with 5 kids who also enjoy their kids, but let's face it, it's stressful for normal people. Nannies, maids, cooks make a big difference, I'm sure.) The only thing not going for them is the fact that some people don't like her fake accent. I say they're doing alright, weighing it all. |
Alec was definitely not still an A lister when they met. He was on tv in a supporting role. I personally think he was a good catch for Hilary but that many other attractive young women with a little more going for them he would not be particularly appealing. |
That was his first wife, not his short stocky butterface second wife. I don't think having that many young children is a joy for a senior citizen. But whatever way you want to spin it to think that her faking an accent is the only thing wrong with ehat she did is your choice. |
That story about the Hamptons horse barn is really sad. I hope our local Hamptons lady comes by to give the scoop. |
You seem to have missed most of her grift, if that’s all you took away. |
I visit the "Entertainment and Pop Culture" forum about once or twice a month, just for fun.
It's kind of sad how much discussion there is of Hilaria Baldwin. I'm not sure why so many people have so much to say about one person. Let's think of some new topics. |
I hope it continues. It's a morality play if you don't get it. Blows my mind when people defend and normalize immoral actions. Society used to sanction immoral behavior, now its rewarded. Without moral people acting on the impulse to reprimand immorality, we would all be constantly robbed, defrauded, abused. |
