I went and bought some fall themed candles from Target. My apartment smells lovely.
Am I low class? |
| Haven't we already had this thread for 2016? |
| If you are, I guess I am too! |
| Not at all, but you are elevating your risk of cancer slightly if the wax is not 100% pure beeswax or soywax. |
| No. |
| Yes |
| Extremely tacky |
| I don't think so, but some women here act as if it's akin to having an old couch on your front lawn. |
| I love them! |

I thought I didn't like scented candles and then I smelled a really incredible one. Like what you like, OP. My favorites are from Handmade Habitat, and they're made in the DC area. The sweet spearmint is so good even my husband likes it.

I take it you have never shopped in California. If you had you would know that everything causes cancer. Everything. |

1) Is the candle made of soy wax or beeswax? Or is it made of parafffin wax? Beeswax has medicinal properties and soy wax is clean and environmentally-friendly. Both types of wax add good vibrations to your home. Any shamanic healer or energy worker would recommend candles of this type.
2_ Is the candle scented with essential oils or fragrance oils? Essential oils have aromatherapy value; fragrance oils are cheap pefume. I regularly buy scented candles (beeswax/essential oil) for my prayer altar and meditation. I was born wealthy and remain wealthy, and it's not something I consider bad taste. |

Yes
Plus air polluting for those with asthma migraines etc |

| I like candles, but most of those scented ones give me awful headaches. I switched to an essential oils diffuser. Much better. |
