Favorite tinted moisturizer with SPF?

Anonymous
I recently tried Aveeno tinted moisturizer and noticed that when I became sweaty, the tint bubbled up and then dried oddly on my face. I looked a bit ridiculous and didn't notice until I got home - it went well with the dried spit up on my shoulder

What tinted moisturizer do you use? Why do you love it? Do people also use these in the winter?

Laura Mercier - LOVE it.

Origins has a nice sheer tinted coverage with SPF15 that leaves no residue. I do still use a simple moisturizer underneath it, but that's just my skin.

Second the Laura Mercier comment - expensive, but TOTALLY worth it - great coverage, easy for dummies like me to apply, and doesn't look like I'm wearing anything - just like I have better skin.

I found Laura Mercier a little heavy & prefer Chantecaille.

I'm using the Aveeno brand and it works for me but want to share that other posters have recommended the Neutrogena tinted moisturizer in the past.

I love the way Laura Mercier looks but I don't feel like it actually moisturizes, LOL; it seems to go on skin dry and not rub in easily. It;s great for looking good but I always put a regular moisturizer/sunscreen on underneath first; that makes it go on much more easily.

19:05 poster, I wasn't using a moisturizer under my tinted one. I was told by a LM sales girl to always apply a moisturizer underneath the tinted one. It actually works.

Stila. I always use a light moisturizer under my tinted.

I thought the point of the tinted "moisturizer" was to streamline combine the foundation and moisturizer. What's the point of the tinted moisturizer if you have to moisturize beforehand?!? Isn't there a product out there that actually does what it purports to do?

Maybe they have super-dry skin. ? But I agree, I would think a tinted moisturizer isn't the best product for that purpose.

I am 12:16 poster. Yes, I thought the same thing. My somewhat combination skin was feeling drier when I started using the tinted moisturizer. If I remember correctly the LM moisturizer only is 50% moisturizer. So, I am assuming that makes a difference.
