I agree!! I love it. They truly seem happy to me!!!!

I’m still doubtful they will go the distance- I mean, history has shown us that women at the top of their game at least in the entertainment industry have a hard time finding a long term partner. But that song So High School is a BANGER.

Just when I thought I was taking a break from Taylor Swift songs after a year of nonstop listening I cannot stop playing that one.

And I love her work with Aaron Dessner who is her latest collaborator and worked on it with her. Love him.

There has really never been anything like this in American pop culture. I am loving it so much. It honestly brings me joy.

Love that they aren’t rushing down the aisle. Like there’s no dumpster fire element to this relationship and that’s so refreshing. It’s old fashioned in a way that is universal.

Totally agree so that’s why I don’t understand all the hate. If it doesn’t go the distance or initially was PR who cares. It’s adorable, it’s wholesome for the most part. What HARM is it doing anybody.

Wow. Since when is dating a drunkard wholesome? How uniquely American.

They both drink a lot. They’re perfect for each other!

He celebrated his AFC Championship and then celebrated the Super Bowl win. When else has he been recorded as drunk? I usually see clips of him on social media without drinks. Even the Christmas and NYE photos didn't show him with drinks. He doesn't drink at her shows that I can see. So where is this coming from? The New Heights broadcast in Cincinnati was a specific event for their fans, and still then he wasn't drunk. He slammed a beer as a joke, but he wasn't drunk. It's just not a true narrative but you like to act like it is.

Do Taylor Swift fans love Taylor with Travis or with Matty at this moment?

I am a fan, and I prefer her with a smarter, more artistic man. Between those two, Matty would be my choice, not that I get any say in the matter.
Once knows how to ball, the other one knows Aristotle. One is so high school, the other one is the love and loss of her life.
I think if Matty Healy had been ok with all the insanity that surrounded them as a couple, she would have chosen him over everyone and everything else. "I choose you, religiously."

Matty Healy obviously has some level of intelligence if you listen to him speak on certain subjects and you read his lyrics, etc., but it’s also clear that he has a very low level of emotional intelligence. I’m not even talking about the addiction and drugs. I’m talking about the offensive words that come out of his mouth, how he treats the women in his life, All of this has been documented in the media so don’t need to rehash it, but he is a troubled man. I can’t imagine saying you’d rather someone be with someone who you consider to be intelligent as opposed to someone who you think is not intelligent emotional intelligence into consideration.

Travis, of course has a stereotype of not being intelligent and much of that is due to the learning disabilities he has that led him to him struggle in school. Yes, he’s had some issues with drugs, not to the level of MH, but that have impacted his life when he was younger. But the man is super emotionally, intelligent. He’s able to express his feelings, has a strong sense of commitment and love to his family, is philanthropic, and not afraid to show his for those in his life. And on the intelligent note, you may not be well-versed in football, but Travis isn’t only good at football because of his size and raw athletic ability, as a football player you have to memorize a ton of plays and routes so you can be at the right place at the right time. But what makes Travis successful is he not only memorizes his own, he memorizes those of everyone else out on that field so he knows exactly where they will be which allows him to get to a spot on the Field, that may be open based on everything he’s memorized about those plays. There’s a recent article about it and it was pretty interesting. Very rare for a player to do this, or to have the capacity to do that and make decisions in a split second on the fly. Not sure you could call someone who does all that not intelligent, it’s just intelligence used in a different way.

+1
I think the people saying he's stupid and an and oaf and whatever else they're calling him don't understand learning disabilities. When you realize he has a learning disability (and jokes about it himself I'm sure as a way to fend off the criticism he knows is coming; better to laugh at yourself first, right?) it should impress you that he made it through college. Not only that, after he lost his scholarship, he found a job as a telemarketer to pay for his own way through college, and then graduated. Why is he never given credit for that? And I also agree that his position requires intelligence. It just does. And the drug thing is much ado about nothing in terms of it being an "issue" for him. It lost him his scholarship, yes, but it was a bowl game in New Orleans and he and others smoked weed. He was just the one picked for a drug test, but he certainly wasn't the only one smoking.

I think this is what she fell for 100%. They are both attractive, top of their chosen profession, but still family-oriented people. They play well with others. And before anyone goes on about their attraction level- they are both in shape, rich, and can fix anything wrong (teeth, skin, etc).

Did Taylor have her security shadowing Joe Alwyn when they dated? Or is this a new thing with Travis? Either way I find it odd.

Of course she did. She’s had multiple stalkers. Why do you find it “odd”? She gets death threats etc. routinely. It would be “odd” not to provide a level of security. That’s what would be odd.

I don’t find it odd I find it sad. Obviously he has received threats which requires the security. No one wants security.

It's the American version of Posh and Becks.
