Has Kellyanne Conway lost control?

Anonymous
I think that as long as her methods were working, Donald Trump was staying on Kellyanne's leash like a good little dog.

But, like with his previous advisors, once a setback occurs, he seems to lash out by no longer listening to their advice.

There is no way that Conway has advised Trump to twitter about Miss Universe in the middle of the night, or go after Bill Clinton's infidelity.

I suspect that if his polls take a substantial dive and his second debate doesn't go well, she will be out, out, out.

Conway would be let go next week.

There were two types of people who attended CPAC in March 2016 and gave Speaker Paul “Omnibus” Ryan (the former chair of the budget, well, actually, non-budget committee) a standing ovation.

Type one was the professional political class, the UniParty membership, the GOPe; those who happily welcomed Omnibus and who gleefully ignore the seventh spending of the nearly $1 trillion, “one-time” 2009 stimulus bill.
Type two, was those who are overcome with battered conservative syndrome and see nothing wrong with giving thanks to their abuser.
One of those attendees was the former partner of GOPe mouthpiece Frank Luntz, and current campaign manager for Donald Trump, Kellyanne Conway.

Whether Conway is the hand placing the scorpion into the bed sheets of Trump, or whether she is the scorpion itself, is yet to be determined. However, one thing appears quite clear, she was not put into the Trump campaign to ensure his election. Exactly the opposite appears true.

I wonder if she drinks herself to sleep every night

She'll quit or be let go shortly. If only to save her brain. Can you imagine what it's like trying to work for that peabrain?

To be fair Conway's job was never exactly going to be easy. She did tell Megyn Kelly that she had chided Trump for his comments about women. She has done a great job keeping the campaign on track but the buck stops with the nominee.
That said there's a long way to go till November and she may still be able to pull a rabbit out of the hat. When Trump toes the line Hillary's numbers sink and this debate may just have been his wake-up call.

It appears it may have waken him up in the middle of the night. But, then he started tweeting about Miss Universe.

This brings to mind the parable of the frog that carried the scorpion across the river.

Trump does not want to be controlled. His natural state is bullying, no apologies, self-aggrandizement. And his core supporters LOVE it, so he gets validated every time he comes out on the attack. The problem with this strategy is that he absolutely has to expand his voting base in order to win. His campaign managers who tried to help him do that are either gone now or on a fool's errand.

Was she the real-life role model for "Legally Blond"?

Do Trump supporters really believe that if he is elected and tries his bullying, self-aggrandizement on world leaders that they will bow down to Trump? If we aren't immediately blown off the face of the earth before Trump can punch in the nuclear codes, we will be isolated, ostracized, from the world. Bullies love to go up against other bullies to see who is the biggest and baddest and the recipients of this crazed behavior will be the citizens.

there is nothing harder than to find out that the keys to your success are now suddenly causing you to fail.
