I think she was plying him in a very sweet, maternal way, the way you would with a toddler (she has 6 children, so she knows how to deal with toddlers!). That explains why she couldn't manage to confiscate his phone/twitter or get him to pay attention to debate prep. You can only do so much with a toddler, no matter how skilled.

I doubt she ever had control. Conway is just a pretty female face to put on tv to assuage suburban republican moms. I think the only two people Trump listens to are Jared Kushner & Corey Lewandowski ... and he prob trusts Christie but Christie is toxic with the bridge bs. Trump's probably suspicious of anyone new, inc. Conway.

Kellyanne can only do so much. She can try to semi-control him during the day. But it's not like she's in bed with Trump and can yell at him in the middle of the night to 'Put the damn phone down!' Trump is self-destructing. I can't stand Conway, but she has an impossible task. The only one who doesn't recognize that is Trump.

I think you should give her more credit. There was a perceptible change in his campaign when he brought her on. He stopped doing his normal stupid shit and getting in twitter fights with people. She immediately went on TV and tried to turn the table on Clinton. I think she is very clever.

The stress of the debate and his poor performance obviously got to him. He's such a weak person.

An SNL sketch of her stalking him throughout the day and hiding in his bed would be amazing.

And we keep saying that he's self-destructing. He self-destructed last month, and the month before. He's like an STD, he never fully self-destructs.

That would be wonderful, but she does not seem to be the type of person who would do that to a former client. I can't see him finding someone better than her. He is the problem, not her.
