Gabriette is very cute when she is in casual clothes and not much makeup though. I have seen videos of her with Matty out and about and at his concerts. She has that young Angelina Jolie’s bone structure and sex appeal. Better looking than TS imo. |

Kind of funny-looking, but she has some interesting sounding recipes on her IG. Meanwhile Taylor and Travis seem to be making it work. I'm glad she's found someone who appreciates the fact she's TAYLOR SWIFT and isn't intimidated by that. |
Do you really think she is intimidating? I just see it as giving up a lot of freedom to be yourself and go out in the world. The trade off isn’t worth it for anyone unless you aim to be famous. I think Travis wants fame more than Matty does. As Marty seems more artist like and Travis more like a fame chaser. I think Taylor and her parents are fame chasing too (that is why her dad wrote she was going to be something (actress, model) if not a singer). Granted Taylor IS extraordinarily famous, but fame is her primary goal. Just like it is Travis’ goal. I don’t see that as Marty’s goal. |
There's fame, and then there's what Taylor Swift is experiencing. Sure, she wanted fame as any musician does, but no one could "wish for" this level of fame because it seems 100% unrealistic and unattainable. Now that she has, I think it becomes about managing the fame and the fact that you can't just let anyone into your circle. I think it works in TK's favor that he wants fame. Because he's not upset about it when it comes his way. |
Stream the concert genius. |
Ok, I disagree. I think the level of marketing she and her parents have done (from her first webpage at 12 to her handwriting font, to her cultivating a persona to be friends with her fans) are all selling yourself to achieve a high level of fame. They didn’t think about the downside of their actions very much at all. Until recently. |

Ok? So what? Do you know how many kids try to do stuff like this? Have you been on YouTube ever? She has achieved iconic success. She is a billionaire. She is respected by other musicians and in the industry, she is a force. She is likely going to set records for sales and tours that won’t be surpassed. She writes songs. She has won many awards. The woman is wildly successful, talented and again, iconic. She is one of a kind. And if you’re the one saying she’s not as attractive as some internet model who will be long over by 30, I feel sad for you and your reductionist viewpoint of women. Grow up. |
Taylor has experienced the downsides to her fame many times before. She went into hiding for years because of it. She knows how to take control of the narrative now. She’s relishing in her current level of fame. |
PP you're responding to. Yeah, I can see all of it. I still think she's in a managing her fame phase. I thought about that when I saw she's already applied to trademark "Female Rage: The Musical" so I see your point. But I also see that as controlling your own creative ideas, and if she didn't someone else would and then make money off of her, and then that becomes the narrative instead of what she wants to be the narrative. I think it's more about control than money or fame at this point. She has plenty of the latter. |
Just because you are famous or have won many awards, that doesn’t mean you are beautiful. I think the PP was talking abbot objective beauty, all else being equal. Taylor is certainly attractive, especially after all the subtle surgeries and alterations she did to her face and body, but she is not gorgeous. Not even close. |

So? She has succeeded in being the most popular celeb of the social media era. It was going to be someone, and not someone of any great talent. No one of substance looks up to her as an artist. She's just really good at getting women of all ages to become fascinated with her low stakes high school level relationships. Whoopee |
Well your none of those. Just a judgy lady sitting behind a keyboard. |
