At ease, as long as they are in their place.

Get real, there is racism everywhere. That is why it needs to be called out and more education is needed to deprogram Americans who still don't understand that we are all the same, regardless of the color of our wrapping.

Stop with this colorblind crap. It’s damaging.

Exactly

So you would prefer that we succumb to the racist brainwashing that happened in the United States for the better part of 200 years that suggests that people with dark skin are mentally inferior? I don't get your sentiment.

You can't deprogram people who form opinions of their own through experience and observation and sorry but we're not all the same and definitely not equal. Those of higher SEC have way less of a struggle thriving, raising their IQ, getting educated, support, etc while a poorer person doesn't have that advantage. They struggle more. What you can do is focus on the issues, family, environment, schools, neighborhood, crime, etc. in majority minority communities speaking as a POC myself. Being a poor kid in America makes one more likely to be surrounded by negative issues in those areas that impede their success.

Not racism but patronizing. If the Dems didn’t pander to their African American constituents, they could win few races in blue states.

White supremacists aren’t infiltrating the Dens, unlike the GOP. Racism is Southern Pride. Southerners are largely racists independent of party.

The most racist people are from the northeast. I never was called the n word until I went to college in Boston and I am from Alabama. Law school in NYC was even worse.

Sorry but you're wrong. The most racist people in the country are in the Pacific Northwest - Seattle, Portland, etc.

Having also grown up in the south (SC and AL) I can tell you the south is way more at ease with black people than the northwest.

Yep. Try buying a house in Mercer Island

Try buying a house - or renting an apartment - in white nieghborhoods down south if you’re not white.

Try it in Bethesda.

I live in Bethesda and there are plenty of buying opportunities for everyone willing to pay the price for the propertty.

Yeah I don't see how anyone non white can be denied if they have cash. Any person no matter how racist loves money and won't care about the color.

If your “anti racism” isn’t intersectional than you’re not anti-racism at all.

Governor Northam will not resign, per his comms director.

Bold move, Ralph.

His comms director should resign. She is horrible as the past 48 hours has revealed.

The interesting thing is that she is half black.

His statement right now is a total CYA statement.
Not credible. Not believable.

Who believes this......

"When my staff showed me the photo in question yesterday, I was seeing it for the first time. I did not purchase the EVMS yearbook and I was unaware of what was on my page"

I heard it live and disagree. No one should have their life defined by their youth. He was open and believable.

I don't think this one is going to just blow over especially with his latest statement.

No one believes that he didn't post this picture on his yearbook page.

Why did he make this statement less than 24 hours ago?

"I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now"

Anonymous wrote:NP. I haven't read through all 37 pages to see if this was addressed, but here's what I think happened:

Northam made the inexcusable error of revealing just how heinous the far-left is pushing "abortion" when he talked about "keeping an infant comfortable" while the mother and doctors discussed whether to let it live or kill it. But.....Dems couldn't pressure Northam to resign over that, since all he did was expose that liberals consider letting living babies die "abortion." It would make Dems look bad.

So all of a sudden they found a photo of him when he was an adult, either mocking black people or, even worse, dressing up like someone who lynched them. NOW the Dems have a way to get rid of Northam while showing how they don't accept racism.

This is all about "aborting" babies after they are already born.

He was asked an i oasoble hypothetical. Many babies are born alive who have conditionsnwhere they wouldn’t live on their own and the doctors do not provide life sustaining care. Just palliative care. That’s what he was talking about.

Because he knows he’s dressed up like that before.....
