We all loved Rachel from friends. It was awful when it appeared that Brad ditched her for Angelina and immediately became a family man and started cranking out the babies. Then Jen bounced around in relationships, and everyone imagined she was lonely and sad.

Brad Pitt is under investigation by the LAPD and L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services for allegedly getting verbally abusive and physical with his children, and that's what triggered the divorce ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us, Brad, Angelina and their kids were on a flight last Wednesday when he allegedly got wasted on the private jet. He allegedly went wild, screaming and getting physical with the kids.

I think all of us parents have lost our tempers and yelled at our kids here and there. I would like to know just how much abuse was happening or how much was just disciplining or late effort at trying to discipline and Angelina is using it as a weapon. I think she has major mental issues too, so she should be careful if CPS gets involved as she might end up looking bad as well. After the leak of e-mails we know Hollywood people hate her, so this will be an interesting circus to watch. But, it is sad for the kids.

I'm with PP. Hell hath no fury like a balding/greying middle aged man whose penis is flagging and whose drinking is catching up to him. I am in my late 20s, but I see a lot of these among the wealthy, connected men at my workplace.

that's just asking for child or sexual abuse...that many staff around kids when parents aren't around.
