No more tanker fleet, no use of any European airspace or overseas territory. Losing Diego Garcia will really hurt. With out Turkey and Italy’s base you can not defend Israel. You can attack Iran because of the refueling assets being most NATO.

The US will not able to project power. We will be out of Europe, the pacific, five eyes, Canadian airspace will be off limits, etc. The US will have to increase defense spending by 5 times and still not have the same abilities we have now. We will not be able to supply our fleet or use port facilities.

NATO countries have a GDP of 27 trillion. The US GDP is 29 trillion. Now look at how much the NATO members spend - 500 billion a year. This is just for European defense. The US spends 825 billion. The European will drop US defense contracts. This will increase procurement and maintenance cost by 2-4 times.
