Why is Northeastern (NEU) so popular with both parents and students these days?

Boy you sure love that word. Adds extra credibility? LOL.

I can only hope all my competitors will do as quoted text suggests.

I think we have gotten to the root of your issue, and why you keep posting. Good luck with that.

We are going to register for a tour of BU and NEU for next month. The BU tour starts at 10:30 am and the NEU starts at 1:30 pm. Looking at a map and googling it, I think that provides enough time to see BU and go over to NEU and park?

Yes, NEU and BU are like 5-10 min apart.
You can certainly visit both schools in a day.
Definitively visit both schools.

My non-sport girl is occasionally enjoying Northeastern hockey games and Red Sox baseball in Fenway which is like 5 min away. She said the atmosphere is great in hockey games and passionate fans/supporters are almost intimidating.

Go to NEU first and you will never look at another school again, it's really really that good.

Hmm, seem to be missing a school

LOL. Great and timely article to put this Northeastern issue to rest.

LOL you have posted this article on at least THREE threads this morning. You are surely on a mission, aren't you? Would that mission be for parents who get their college info from anonymous boards?

Hilarious! That chip on your shoulder sure is heavy.

The UConn fans point to the championships and say, "this isn't the 1970's anymore". NEU boosters point to the high SAT scores, selectivity, engineering and comp sci recruitment, grad school outcomes, and say we go toe to toe with the best and say "this isn't the 1970's".

Terrible analogy. UConn has won multiple championships on both the men's and women's side. They are the undisputed best of the best, #1 in the entire country.

Simply being a good school with high SAT scores, selectivity, etc. is nowhere near that. Such a false equivalence.

Nah, I'm fine. Just hoping this will put an end to the constant boosting on this thread.
