In the workplace, I lied about my age for many years. I started working at a big name global company when I was 19 and moved up quickly, but I was always worried that I wouldn't be respected if people knew how young I really was, so I padded on about 3 years to my age and mostly avoided the age topic as much as I could. I did that for many years, then I stayed 35 for several years, and now I'm old enough that nobody really would ask. As I type this, I have to stop and think what my real age is because I've lied about it for so long I forget what the real number is. I hate lying and don't like that I did this one bit, but it probably helped my career by not making my age be a distraction. Still, lying isn't good and I'm not proud of what I did.

Thank you. They are actually outdoor/shots for the most part. On beaches, deserts & mountains.
