are you making next years plans based on school starting after Labor Day?

I am confused. First I read that Hogan said we are all starting after Labor Day. Then I read yesterday in the WP that he may not have had the authority to do that and it may be changed back.
So how are you planning?

Well, given that we are only in the middle of September, I doubt anyone is currently making plans for next August/September.

I am trying to plan which week we will rent a house with friends next summer so would be nice to know too

MCPS and most other school systems with a significant Jewish population will fight it to protect the Fall holidays. All the systems with strong teacher unions will fight it to protect professional days.

I'm planning on working just like I would be regardless of when school starts.

Op here, I work too but do get annual leave and am trying to plan for one week away over the summer.
