I feel like you’re oversimplifying this to prove that it wasn’t racism.

Again — was there a lot of racism? Yes.

Does that make Meghan an angel who can only ever speak and act the truth? No.

Would she have been treated differently had she been the daughter of, say, a rich White European or American billionaire?
Yes.
I rest my case.

And if she were a white American actress with a trashy family? You added class and wealth to the discussion.

No conversation about skin tone would have happened.

Agree with PP. Diana was from a rich white family, she was treated poorly.

She is older, an American, a divorcee and a Black woman .... emphasis on Black.

Emphasis on Narcissistic.

They aren’t paid. If you were watching, you’d have known that.

I’m not saying they did not treat her poorly on the areas uou mentioned. My point is that they treat everyone poorly when you should not be the star of the show, and yes, the UK media was especially horrible to her.

Diana Isadora would be adorable!

Here’s where their talking points are falling apart.

Harry says the family DID welcome her. He also says she crushed it during the Australian tour...effortless!

But when pushed by Oprah, Harry tries to pivot alluding to jealousy being the reason for his family to dump on her.

Doesn’t add up.

She’s so defensive

Anonymous wrote:I cried when she spoke about the conversations about Archie’s color; my own mom said horrible things to me when I was pregnant such as “hope he comes out clean (aka white) and not negrito”. I’m Latina/white and very fair skinned and my partner is AfroLatino. It was heartbreaking and nothing I ever wish anyone else to experience.

I'm lilywhite married to a dark brown man. In all three pregnancies, we always mused about what the kids are going to look like, including their skin color. Husband didn't seem put out by it. Surely it's natural to wonder about what the kid of two different-looking parents will look like? More like you or more like me?

+1

Ehhh this is different.

Right. You notice she clearly states her DH is brown (not black). Not the same.

Black woman

On the South Africa tour when Harry and Meghan went on a joint engagement, Archie was left behind with a nanny. There was a security event where a British press photographer broke into the building to search for Archie. They didn’t reach him but he was 3 months old.

Imagine enduring that as new parents and knowing the firm didn’t want protection or security for Archie. They left for Canada less than two months later.

LOL "I left my job, etc... for LOVE". Um, no.

"no one offered me...." DID YOU ASK FOR IT?

His dad fiddles with his cuffs constantly.

Anonymous wrote:I'm not buying a lot of this, and she's going after people who aren't going to be able to respond likewise. Surprised that so many in this thread are going, "Oooh the British Royal Family is so awful" based on her say-so. I think she's a manipulative liar with a personality disorder. I was afraid when she got her claws into Harry that she'd twist things around to alienate him from his family and it's happened even faster than I thought.

After what he and William went through with their parents, seeing a wedge being driven between them as adults like this is upsetting.

And why do you think William is innocent?

He may not be. But the skin comment sounds exactly like Philip, who has decades of form for it. And William and Harry had the closest relationship, have been through all their trauma together, and thus he's probably the biggest threat to Meghan and the only one who could make Harry see the light on what he's gotten himself into. He would be the most important to alienate Harry from.

Do you hear yourself.

Seriously. You think Harry needs to be protected from his wife and infant son???

There’s something rotten—but it’s not in Denmark.

Also, +1 that she needs to stop saying “right.” Sounds aggressive, manipulative .
