Good call…

3-7 lets not go nuts

As someone who has never watched any 28s but simply follows this thread for the entertainment, the only person going nuts was the person ready to write off the Capital 28s because of a bad Fall. They will be just fine. Every Capital team starts off like this.

And the 27s out of nowhere having an even better weekend. Didn't see that coming. Have to say if I had to bet, it'll all make the next 7 months much less entertaining.

Exactly!! You just have to remember, Capital does not develop they showcase for recruiting. The girls will get their training in high school spring ball with top high school teams...and coaching in the area, then come back and put it all together. Just have to survive that first fall.

Survive what? The wrath of DCUM? I am so tired of hearing about it. Capital is certainly relevant to the 2028 girls lacrosse conversation, but it is not the only topic worth discussing. They looked the part this weekend for the most part, so can we just move on now a treat them like every other team in the area, worthy of a mention here and there?

Looking for my tantrum emoji. That may be the best in the last 20 pages of this chat.

I am sick of it. Your daughter did not make it. Neither did mine. She's not going to be accepted to Princeton in a few years either. That's life, and in this case it's time to move on!

Lacking more interesting hobbies, I was going through the scores from the MidAtlantic Showcase. Check out these score for MC ELITE!

0-1 loss
0-1 loss
0-1 loss
0-0 tie

Putting aside the losses, which are not fun, that is some incredibly tight lacrosse play.

after these past 2 weekends have there been any girls on either capital team that really stand out?

All of them.

Nope, team effort, whether good or needing immediate improvement.

Though several tight games did not go their way this weekend, I continue to think Hero's is the best team in the area, and probably the country.

I would still like to know where the players with did not make Capital ended up.

28 Blue was #13 in this week’s ratings (somewhat from others not having enough games to qualify yet). I suspect they stay
In that range next week with the split this weekend. That would give them a good shot to end the fall as a top 15 team. Getting to the top ten would be a successful summer season for them.

Yes, that was acknowledged in the prior post. But if I had to avoid any team it would probably be Hero's, or maybe Crush because they are so well coached and have tricks up their sleeves.
