This is a mommy site. It’s used all the time, altho I side eye it as well since we are adults (supposedly) talking to each other.

PP here, I'm a mother of an elementary kid but don't refer to myself as a "mommy"--I guess those who use tummy and mommy are the same people.

I'm sure everyone in your life appreciates your grace, dignity, and linguistic precision.

I'm the poster who wrote that. I couldn't remember-- how you say in adult English- stomach.

Perfection. Bravo.

Wow, here is a link to the article that Alec posted... does he really think that THIS is what is happening to his wife? Lol!

Regardless of whether she is at a healthier place now, she had to know that all of the lingerie selfies would be "triggering" for others who suffered from the same eating disorders. It seemed that so much of her approach was "don't hate me because I'm beautiful (or skinny or perfectly fit post partum). It just wasn't authentic.

Ultimately, that was her downfall. Taking Amy Schumer to task for body-shaming a person with a seemingly perfect figure was clearly a strategy that backfired. Don't hate me because I'm thin and my body bounces back...knowing full well the pain and shame that anyone who has ever had an eating disorder has experienced about how fat, ugly, unattractive they feel...and particularly after giving birth and trying to get back in shape. She knew full well that her videos, photos and posts could have easily triggered the same emotions that she admittedly suffered from for many years. At one point, she said her dancing did not allow her to have a healthy relationship with food/her body, to the point that she broke her hip in her 20s.

I agree with many who have posted regarding the lack of authenticity. What is happening now is not bullying, as many who have defended her have claimed. Sadly, it's more of a comeuppance.

The cultural appropriation is a separate and serious matter. On a less serious level, but still important, is how she knowingly triggered people who suffered from the torture of wanting to be thin and would abuse their body to do so. Look at her bounce back to perfection while so many in her wake knew it was nearly impossible and felt bad about themselves. If she was oblivious, it would be so much less offensive. But she knew, because she had suffered too.

"Don't hate me because I'm perfect" seemed to be her mantra, particularly with regard to Amy Schumer. Hilaria had much to be grateful for and didn't need to seek so much attention. I hope she gets the help she needs.

This wasn't her downfall. Everyone's always found Hilaria to be disturbing and seem to be thirsty. She had people who liked to follow her but most of the public likely found her irrelevant or didn't know who she was.

Her photos of her body have been photoshopped and she makes herself look taller and thinner than she is a lot.

Nothing she says can be considered true. An eating disorder, etc. may have just been another attempt to get attention but not any fact to it.

Her "don't hate me because I'm perfect" was more "I'm upset that my posts on social media for self validation did not get the attention and validation i wanted."

There are WAY hotter mothers out there who have way better bodies that women are envious of.

Yes, the same refer to their children as their "best friends" and "besties" and "mini me" it seems

I don't see that post. Did he take it down?

Alec has bid Twitter goodbye for now! Probably the healthiest option!

These celebrities and people who make these grand statements about "leaving social media" so silly. Nobody cares if Alec Baldwin never uses Twitter again. It's perfectly okay to be a celebrity and not spend your existence on twitter, etc. Then they always return to it.

I knew Hillary and worked with her at Yoga to the People, and this post is totally spot on. Over the years when she would post those underwear selfies, I would get so angry. As a person who also suffered from an eating disorder and has recovered, that is an incredily irresponsible thing to do. SHE KNOWS BETTER, and clearly hasn't truly recovered. NO person who has truly recovered, and has a platform like that, would ever do such a thing. So being that she did that constantly, it's pretty easy to draw the conclusion that she is a narcissist. She is not well.

I have seen on this sub, on her IG comments and also on Reddit (come to that party) that she had the eating disorder in high school. Someone said that no one ever called her out on her grift because they felt sorry for her becuase she's always been a sick puppy.

This woman will never admit wrong doing. She will gaslight the world until the cows come home, and boy oh boy those poor kids.

I really wish some more people who have known her, will come out and confirm more of what we already know, so that she doesn't have the "comeback story" she doesn't deserve.

He has literally asked his social media following to go after photographers and now he's inconsolable man child about his wife being a grifter and thinks she is a delicate broken flower that the cruel, cold world has stepped on and crushed, and that she is now a victim. In reality, Hillary is a narcissist, and Alec doesn't understand she is more likely thriving on the attention because any attention is better than no attention for the narcissist, they don't usually feel the repercussions of their actions and have a grandeur delusion that they never feel they are wrong in the first place, it's everyone else's fault, which is what HB basically did.

In your opinion, which of them is the worst? HB or AB?

Agree with all the above. I am in my mid thirties, recovered from an eating disorder that began in my early teenage years. I too was a dancer. Even though I am healthy and recovered now I am still very mindful of my ed coming back and body image triggers. Postpartum was a very difficult period of time for me in that it brought up a lot of body image issues and I had to work really hard to practice self love and acceptance. I actually stopped following Hilaria’s account after I had a baby because I found it to be so triggering.

IMO there is no way H is not aware of how her constant focus on her scantily clad body and postpartum body is not harmful for women who struggle with past and present eating and body image issues. I think she does it because she feeds off the compliments and attention. She does it for her own validation.

AB: "I don't care about the details. You think you're Spanish, I wanted to marry Salma Hayek. Our kids have Spanish names. Nothing needs to change!"
HB: "Muchas gracias Alec, they all just hate me because my bounce back baby body is so banging. Can you tell the five nannies to take the children for another walk, because the noise of the niños is driving me loco!"

She wouldn't know that it triggers people if she lied about having eating disorder for attention, though. Somebody who lies about being Spanish from Spain and not having a television or knowing how to say cucumber and light socket in english because she's pretending to be Spanish would probably lie about having an eating disorder too.

Hillary kind of proves she has a weird obsession with attention around her body, i.e, the endless photos of her ankles behind her head in bed, disregard for others at restaurants, on planes, at the nail salon when she wants to pose in what are not actually yoga poses, etc.

So, she probably has no idea of anything that might hurt or trigger someone else,
