Women who wants equal pay

is funny how women said they don't get equal pay. We are not taking days off for #firstdayofschool pictures. we are not taking a days to take care of our "sick kids", we are not the ones who spends hours on the phone with our kids.... or the kids schools,

So, you are saying that you are not a father, or at least not acting like one?

So you are saying a women should solely "pay" for raising future citizens of our country.

OP is not saying much of anything comprehensible.

I don’t have the time or patience to discern such dribble.

Why aren't you taking care of your sick kids?

I am 28 years old and single no kids. I noticed that a lot of mothers took the day off last Monday to take pictures, and I noticed on Facebook that why they stayed home.

there is no pay gap once you normalize for major, quality of school attended, and number of hours worked

True, women tend to spend more time on child-related issues than men. Men also tend to die earlier, so I guess it doesn't matter if they don't have relationships with their children, if they keel over immediately upon retirement.

And presumably that day off was part of their PTO package. If you want to take a day off to go to the park with your dog or take care of a sick parent you can do that too. Or take a day off to see your niece and nephew or grandchild off to school for the first time you can do that too (I have friends who did this)

I took first day of school pictures of my kids... before they went to school, which is before I normally go to work. Are you sure all those people were actually taking the day off?

Last year my DH took the pictures. He even made a sign (which I couldn't be bothered to do).

I think the long commutes mean that people tend to take days off rather than just an hour or the morning. At least that's what I do, and what DH does.

As a woman, I want a man that can form a complete sentence.

Wow, you don't take pics of your kids? I took pics of my kids before they went to school (i.e. before work). You don't take a day off to take care of your sick kids? who does? Why even have kids if you don't care about them, even when they're sick? My husband and I split sick days to take care of any sick kids (much less frequent now that they're in elementary). I feel sorry for your wife, if you have one.

As to equal pay, yes, it makes sense.
