Point taken. I certainly thought capital would win more than one game out of 6. Seeing the 27s finish winless as well was surprising.

It’s not just that they didn’t win, the games weren’t really that close across the board against the top clubs. Clearly a tier or two down, which is a blinking caution light for this team.

What is your definition or margin of a close game? Just curious; Did you see the games?

Not sure if this is what PP meant, but I took at it is unfair to other teams (M&D, MDU) that should probably be in the top bracket instead of them. So regardless if they request it or not the tournament directors shouldn't give them top bracket just becasue of the Capital name (and for this age group SW name)

It makes no sense to me why the club or directors would put M&D in a lower bracket considering how they have been playing. Honestly, I would not be surprised if M&D emerges as the top MD team this year. Hero's has struggled to come together and M&D looks sharp based on what I have seen. Things are going to get interesting this year.

+1 Despite not having any 4 or 5 star players, I tend to agree they are likely to separate from the park this year.

Best chance may come against Hero’s. They tied them in their play day and many of the girls on Capital came from Pride which traditionally played Hero’s very close so it could be a bad matchup for Hero’s.

Skywalkers lost to M&D orlando last weekend. I am not sure if that was a fluke, or if they were missing players or what. But if Capital Blue plays that same skywalkers team, they should be able to get a win.

I think it’s safe to say that this version of cap blue is not the same as the 25s and that’s ok but to keep putting this team up against that obviously higher bar is getting old. I. Sure capital blue will win some game here and there. But it would be good to remember that pride never beat a top despite what others say about having close games from 2 years ago. Stars was not a strong team. The evaluations for cap blue did not give the coach the true best players that tried out, which is ashame for the kids. That’s why there will be change in the offseason. But right now because pride and stars didn’t do a great job developing their players to play outside of set plays this is the result. I wonder when capital stops relying on other teams and just start a middle school program

Just stop. It's November of Freshman year. Way too early to draw conclusions.

Not sure on what planet Eagle Stix 2028 isn't a top team. Pride beat them and Aces on the same day in June of this year. Pride scored a large portion of their goals in transition last summer. But whatever; this team isn't Pride.

Other than that, there are some reasonable points sprinkled in your post, but July 2025 would be a more relevant time to make them if they hold true.
