Anyone want to list the top three most important roles for the president (or government in general) and identify your party affiliation?
For me.... 1) National security/defense (strong first!) 2) Protection of civil rights and enforcement of laws 3) Base support of disabled, veterans, and elderly citizens Party: Right of center (moderate Republican, tend to like balanced government with opposing parties in presidency and Congress) |

| Surprising that the core issue - what our president should focus on - is of so little interest. |
I think the pres should build that moat

| I don't think there are simply three most important issues. I think there are easily 300 critically important issues. If any one of those areas collapses, it spreads ruin to all the others. |

What I really wish for: Somewhere in Afghanistan, our special forces come upon an previously hidden cache of document from AQ. It says that AQ's long term plan is to destroy infidel civilization, and restore the conditions of the 7th Century, via global warming. If that were found, we would see all the destruction caused by AGW as acts of terror, and would be willing to commit real resources to fight it. |
Na, the wall's going up.

Economy Fixing immigration and illegal immigration. I'm not talking about deporting anyone or stopping immigration, but following the actual laws. I'm very pro immigrant, I'm married to an immigrant and have friends that are immigrants. I'm a republican, but I was a democrat for many years. Voting for Trump in November! |

2. 1. Supreme Court Justice 3. 1. Supreme Court Justice |
Trump is copying the Obama administration's immigration policy at the moment. At least until he changes it five minutes from now. |
THIS. And he's quoting and using Jeb Bush's plan. Trump offers nothing of his own but like any plagiarist, he's claiming it as his own. |
| We'll see what he does if he's elected, won't we? But we all know what to expect if Hillary is elected, and to that I say no thank you! |
