I can't figure this one (or her) out. And I'll be honest, I don't tweet, so I didn't read any of her Twitter war of late. But it always seems with these "scandals" that they're conveniently timed, to basically do what I'm doing: talk about her.
Is she really a victim here or is the loving the free media during a poorly reviewed, big-budget reboot. I feel like, deep down, she's not crying in her agents office, so much as laughing it off and writing new jokes based off of the latest event. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/leslie-jones-website-hacked-article-1.2764043 |

No one wants to see her naked.
|
| You sound kind of gross and apologetic about the abuse being heaped on her. Is it only bullying to you if the person is downtrodden? Your post says more about your own resentment about LJ's success than anything about her. |
Really? Has her comedy never been at anyone else's expense? Like I said, I have not read what was written to her or about her. Nor for that matter have I ever viewed any of her stand-up. The first 30 seconds of this video below suggests she has a very colorful act: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wedNnMzeDJI |
| She's a hypocrite. She used to tweet racist things several years ago, and now is bitching about some weirdo trolls that no one should even acknowledge |
| White supremacists are attacking her over Twitter banning some racist dude named Milo. And this definitely wasn't an orchestrated leak because Homeland Security is investigating. Whoever did this could possibly be looking at federal charges. |
Right, but I think the point is does nobody go after the president? Or Whoopi? Ben Carson? Has he gotten a pass? Did she never instigate it to inflame the battle? It's not like she's Maya Angelou. |

She liked it, right? She asked for it, clearly. Just like she asked for the massive panning of her movie months before anyone saw it.
She clearly was born with multiple faults and deserves what she gets. Plus she's successful now and needs to be put back in her place, ESPECIALLY if she's actually happy. Is that what you mean, OP, or are you just playing into the hands of all the racist, misogynistic trolls who are probably pleasuring themselves as they read your post? |
She's been heavily targeted by racist white men ever since the trailer for Ghostbusters came out. That was truly the beginning; it got worse by the time the movie was released. She really did nothing; she has always been a comedian but has never personally attacked anyone. When racists are tweeting pictures of gorillas to black people it's quite clear where they stand and nothing you do or don't do can set them off. The same thing happened to Normani from 5th Harmony; she was racially harassed (including pictures of lynched bodies with her face on it) by another groupmate's fans so much she quit Twitter. |
| OP, I read a bunch of the tweets when this started to go south after Ghostbusters was released. It is truly awful and the racists things that have been hurled at her are completely unacceptable and you should honestly feel ashamed for insinuating she asked for it. |
| Shorter OP: "Hey, bad things happened to a woman. What is the thing she must have done to deserve them?" |
| You are a true asshole for even suggesting she is doing this herself. Gross. |
| OP you really need to read the tweets before you comment on this. It was absolutely disgusting. In fact, it's probably better, just in general, to do a little bit of research before delving into something like this. |
+1 The whole thing is disgusting, nobody deserves that kind of treatment. |
| You're disgusting, OP. And clearly part of the alt-right "movement". |
