Yes, I do. But what difference does it make?

because I cannot find "decent" clothes there...and I cannot afford designer clothes. Decent meaning conservative for work. Do I have other options?

TJ Maxx and Marshalls are just as cheap and often better.
Consignment stores are fabulous also.
Ebay.

Loft and Gap on sale can be very, very affordable.

I like the Ambrielle brand of underwear and always buy it at JCP when they have sales.

Macys can be just as affordable with its never-ending sales and coupons, but it's a lot to pick through.

How about Nordstroms? Their sale prices are often cheaper than kohls and jc penny.

Macys is around the same price range and they have constant sales.

I shop at Kohl's. I also shop at KMart!

I dont do Kohls, but I shop at JCP regularly. Their Worthington line fits me well and is appropriate for work. I also do Ann taylor/Loft and WHBM at outlets or on sale.

I shop at both those places all the time. I also buy most of my kids' clothes at Target and Walmart. I'm very stingy and I won't waste my money on some brand name. The prices at Nordstrom and Lord and Taylor are over the top ridiculous and I can't believe people blow money like that.

I really like Kohl's JellyBeans line for DD. And I also shop at Saks and NM for her and myself, though almost exclusively on sale. Agree with PPs that a lot of mall stores on sale (esp. AT, BR, WHBM, and Loft) have decent work staples that can be purchased very low cost if you are good about scouting sales. If you get yourself on their email lists, you will get updates about their nearly constant stream of coupons...along with a lot of spam, unfortunately. Macy's house brands Charter Club and Alfani also have good business casual clothing, though I find the quality to be pretty variable and generally worse now than a couple of years ago. If you are willing to invest the time, you can sometimes find amazing deals at the higher end department store outlets (NM, Saks, Bloomingdale's, Barney's Coop, and less often Nordstrom Rack).

I agree that the women's lines at places like Kohl's aren't great...they may be less expensive but the quality is really garbage.

Kohls is insanely overpriced for the crap clothes they sell. Go to Nordstrom rack/marshalls/tj maxx instead.

I never find anything I like at TJ Maxx or Marshalls. Do you have to spend a lot of time picking through things?
