These commercials are so weird, yet I am fascinated with them.....aaaaarghh!
The mom is beautiful, though...

Ha! I agree! Is that her husband in the backseat? Is he solemn because his daughter just got married? Was he considering a divorce with his wife? Who are the other people in the car with them...and why is a younger man in the passenger seat rather than him?!

I'm assuming we're talking about the same commercial, but I've paused TiVo fast forward to watch bc I still don't get it!

There is another ad, too, although they tend to show the OP mentioned over and over. In the other one, the young man in the front seat (a son?) has a camera and is scrolling through family photos from a wedding (his sister's?). Why they don't show that one more often, I don't know.

I think it's mom, dad, and their sons leaving their daughter's/sister's wedding, and they all are feeling sentimental.

This, but it took me quite a while to figure that out because the actors who play the parents are like 8 years older than the actors playing their sons.

Yep, that's what's happening. Also the hipster beard on the dad is confusing. And why is he twirling his wedding ring?

Yes, as everyone knows, women are not permitted to drive if there are males nearby.

Only douches make their wife drive them around while they fiddle around in the backseat. Lazy man.

And the man in the backseat, who appears to possibly be the husband, looks much older than the woman who is driving, while the younger man in the front seat doesn't look young enough to be the woman's son. Maybe he is a stepson? Maybe the woman driving is the younger second wife. I also don't get the twirling the wedding ring thing.

My spouse and I have also tried to figure out what the heck is going on in this ad. I'd say that maybe that makes it an effective ad, except that I couldn't have told you what the ad was for except for the OP mentioning it. It's not really clear what they're advertising and why we should buy it based in the ad.

He didn't make her. He's her bitch, obv. He sits in the back so he can ask for Grey Poupon for her croque monsieur from either window.

I do all the driving because my husband's driving causes me to scream in full panic mode.

The commercial is dumb. Am I supposed to get teary over a car ?
