Meghan Markle and Prince Harry News and Updates

I’m surprised so many of you think Philip was the member of the family saying/doing these things. He’s nearly 100 and in poor health, I doubt he’s involved with the day to day running of “the Firm.”
It is CHARLES!!!!!!

This is like saying “the Crown Jewels were stolen. I have no doubt it was... William.”
How do you know it was William? Wtf?

I suspect it was William or Charles. They are the only ones who could be having this conversation with Harry.

You’re quite wrong.

It must be complicated for him . Taking up the firm while still loving his grandma.

I’m Latina/white and very fair skinned and my partner is AfroLatino. It was heartbreaking and nothing I ever wish anyone else to experience.

I'm lilywhite married to a dark brown man. In all three pregnancies, we always mused about what the kids are going to look like, including their skin color. Husband didn't seem put out by it. Surely it's natural to wonder about what the kid of two different-looking parents will look like? More like you or more like me?

Team Meghan!!!!! USA!!!!!

She’s clearly suffering from a mental health issue, I feel sorry for her. She needs to be treated and hopefully after the child is born her hormones will rebalance and she’ll recover from this crisis.

Oh, how novel! She is a hormonal, hysterical woman, and of course, double points to you that she is black! If it was not so sad that you are actually propagating tearing women down, it would be so pathetic and so common and predictable.
You are a misogynist and a racist, surely you know that?

You are so tiresome, just yelling racist and misogynist every time someone dares express a different opinion.

I'm so upset for her. My baby wouldn't have went back either. Screw the royal family

Why couldn’t they pay for their own security if they wanted it? How much do her clothes cost?

THIS. How incredibly entitled.

How is it entitled ifvthey were required tobwork for the firm? Sometimes they gonout ofthe country forcengsgements, sometimes without the child, it makes sense to provide security.

I think the ‘senior person’ is Charles.

This I don’t get. Hire a psychiatrist like anyone else who has the money.

Have you ever been suicidal? Often a psychiatrist isn't enough.

I have. Not everyone who is suicidal needs to be treated as an inpatient.

But if she felt she needed that she should have had access to it. Like anyone else in the world does.

She needs help yesterday, she is now free to get the all the mental help she requires.

Do the other kids have security?

Yes. George, Charlotte and Louis all have personal security to themselves and while in school away from William and Kate.

This gets into the money stuff, which can be a huge conversational tangent.

But I’m presuming she could pay for a little more security. When Harry and Meghan needed to be away from Archie.

And what about security of their property. If they needed to leave him with a nanny while out. There is just *no one* securing the premises?

Oh, c’mon! They were on the Queen’s property! There is tons of security - they do not allow people to meander about.

That’s what I’m saying. For at least 3-4 years he would be home or out with his parents. And sometimes home while they go out.
They could have relied on some type of security I’m sure. Paid for it when needed. And then maybe convince Charles when he goes to school to help pay.

I don’t believe that Archie was going to be unsecured just because he didn’t have his own security as an infant.

The PP is wrong too. Frogmore was on PUBLIC grounds with public parks for individuals be enjoying the property as they see fit. There’s a walking path paralleling Frogmore’s house where you can see directly into their rooms without curtains. I’ve always thought it was ridiculous that they were placed there. Even Andrew’s house is more secure and not in the public portions of the grounds.

On top of that William has gatehouses with separate security houses on both of his properties in addition to having the road into his lands being private.

I feel like you’re oversimplifying this to prove that it wasn’t racism.

Again — was there a lot of racism? Yes.

Does that make Meghan an angel who can only ever speak and act the truth? No.

Would she have been treated differently had she been the daughter of, say, a rich White European or American billionaire?
Yes.
I rest my case.

Surprised that so many in this thread are going, "Oooh the British Royal Family is so awful" based on her say-so. I think she's a manipulative liar with a personality disorder. I was afraid when she got her claws into Harry that she'd twist things around to alienate him from his family and it's happened even faster than I thought.

After what he and William went through with their parents, seeing a wedge being driven between them as adults like this is upsetting.

And why do you think William is innocent?

Because he was cute 20 years ago!

We’re only hearing Meghan’s side of the story, aren’t we?

Anonymous wrote:Harry needs to go after the UK press. This is the crux of the issue. The press was ravenously tearing apart this couple and the BRF was just letting it happen.

I wouldn’t want my wife or kids in that environment. It’s so unhealthy.

How would that have helped? They would do it again eventually. Happens all the time. They sue, write another story, sue, write another story, etc. How about just accepting that it comes with the territory?

And if she were a white American actress with a trashy family? You added class and wealth to the discussion.

No conversation about skin tone would have happened.
